Why We Love It

Make your garden look on point with a pointy Picea.

This slow-growing, low maintenance conifer is ideal for pots or putting pride of place as a statement plant in a rockery or woodland area.

Its downward-facing branches are densely packed with blue-green needles that form a neat cone shape.

Place one in a mega pot on either side of the front or back door to spruce things up and enjoy its simple, stately form throughout the year.

(You could even dress it up in lights when Christmas comes round…)

How to Plant

Into a Pot

Your tree will grow perfectly well in a pot or container, as long as your pot has enough room for the plant to properly extend its roots. You'll need your spade and a watering can, plus soil and peat-free compost.

  1. Sprinkle a little soil and compost in the bottom of your pot.
  2. Add your tree, backfilling with soil, using your spade or hand.
  3. Firm up and then water.
