In ancient Mesopotamia and ancient Eygpt, palms represented fertility and long life.

A River Runs through it...

They grow well naturally in flowing water and are found along riverside and cliff habitats in their native environment and they can survive floods.

Yet they also thrive indoors as houseplants, but don't take that as a go ahead to overwater.

• You wont need to 'plant' this houseplant. Leave the plant in its nursery pot, and put the whole thing into a decorative pot to create "the look"
• This palm likes the light, so a west or south facing window is the perfect spot
