Gather your materials. You’ll need: 1.4 of each type of bulb. We chose crocus, hyacinths, daffodils & tulips. 2. A big-ish pot. We use one with 40cm width and 30cm height. Make sure it's got drainage holes at the bottom.

3. Free-draining peat-free compost. 4. Broken pot shards. 5. Layer of grit.

Fill the bottom of the pot with your broken pot shards (helps with good drainage!).  + Add 8 cm of compost on top of the shards.

Layer on the biggest bulbs first (tulips) with the pointy ends upwards.  Leave space between each bulbs. + Cover the bulbs with another 8cm of compost and...

...Repeat. Layer the remaining bulbs in this order, with a layer of compost in between: Daffodils Hyacinths Crocus

Once your crocus bulbs are in, cover with a final layer of compost.  + Finish the top of the container with a 1cm layer of fine gravelor grit (helps keep the soil in tip top condition).
