What is Sproutl?
Sproutl is on a mission to transform the way we think about gardening. From a tiny balcony to your first 'proper garden', we aim to inspire a lifelong gardening love affair from the very first moment you plant something. We're a new UK Tech Startup dedicated to demystifying gardening, making it accessible and fun, inspiring fresh new audiences across the country who may never have planted anything before. We bring the best in gardening from phone to your door for patios, pots, windowsills, and backyards.
The seed and need for Sproutl were sown when former VP Trading and Strategy, Marketing at Farfetch, Anni Noel-Johnson, wanted to plant her small London garden. Teaming up with a former colleague Andy Done (who had previously been Director of Data Engineering at Farfetch, and headed up data analytics at King, makers of the hit game Candy Crush), Sproutl was launched. Hollie Newton, who swapped from being an award-winning creative director to become a bestselling gardening author, was brought on board to be the Chief Creative Officer.
Sproutl is already working with some of the UK's best independent garden centres, including Rosebourne, Millbrook and Polhill and specialist nurseries and retailers such as salvia experts, Middleton Nurseries and living wall guru’s, Horticus. They are also working with a number of specialist logistics providers.
