Wisteria floribunda 'Black Dragon'

1. Water your plant well.
2. Dig through the soil to loosen it.
3. Make a hole twice as wide as the rootball.
4. Place your plant in the hole. Make sure that the top of the roots are visible and level with the surface of the soil.
5. Fill in the hole with soil, firming to remove air pockets.
6. Firm the soil and water well.

Give your climber a large pot and something to climb.

1. Raise your container on pot feet to aid drainage.
2. Add a small amount of potting mix to the bottom of the container.
3. Pop your plant in the soil with the top of the rootball slightly beneath the rim of the pot.
4. Backfill the hole with your compost and cover the top of the rootball to a depth of 6 cm.
5. Gently tamp down and water well.
