How to Plant
Plant this rose in full sun and well-drained soil of any pH and type. Water your shrub well for best results.
Into the Ground
- Find a deep pot.
- Fill with a loam-based compost.
- Make a hole twice the size of your rose's rootball.
- Place your rose in the hole.
- Ensure the 'bud union' (where the canes are emerging from the rootstock) is level with the top of the compost.
- Add extra compost around your rose.
- Water well.
Into a Pot
- Dig a deep hole twice as wide as the plant's roots.
- Mix in some organic matter.
- Gently spread out the roots.
- Place the root ball into the centre of the hole.
- Ensure the 'bud union' is at soil level.
- Back-fill the hole and firm down the soil.
- Water well.
