How to Plant

Position 'Aurea Nana' in full sun and opt for a moist but well-drained chalk, loam, clay or sandy soil of any pH.

Into the Ground

  1. Dig a hole at least twice the size of the plant's rootball.
  2. Use a fork to loosen the soil in the hole.
  3. Gently tease the roots and soak them in water.
  4. Plant at the same depth as the plant was in its temporary container.
  5. Backfill with soil and firm it down.

Into a Pot

  1. Choose a pot that's double the size of the plant's temporary container.
  2. Elevate it using pot feet.
  3. Partially fill the container with soil.
  4. Gently tease the roots and soak them in water.
  5. Position the plant in the pot so that it is level with the rim.
  6. Backfill with soil.
