The featured bowl is ceramic with a hand painted Dutch Delft Blue design and it comes complete with compost and 3 bulbs.

Planting and Care

It thrives in any moderately fertile, well-drained soil of any pH value. Plant it in full sun or partial shade.

Into the Ground

  1. Find a sunny but sheltered spot for your bulbs.
  2. Dig some holes twice the size of the rootballs so that your bulbs can be placed 10 cm apart.
  3. Mix in some organic compost and add the bulbs to the holes.
  4. Backfill with soil and water well.

Into a Pot

  1. Find a container large enough for a few bulbs.
  2. Fill it with soil and dig a few holes twice the size of the rootballs. 
  3. Place the bulbs so that they touch, to create a clumping effect.
  4. Cover with soil, just letting the tip of the bulbs jut out.
  5. Gently firm the soil.
  6. Water generously.
  7. Place the pot in a cool, dark and moist place.
