Into a Pot
If you're planting into a pot or container, have a hand trowel and a watering tool ready, plus a container larger than the one your plant arrived in.
- Pour a small amount of soil at the bottom of your chosen container.
- Put the plant in place and then back-fill soil around the rootball.
- Lightly water after repotting. The soil should be just damp enough that if you press your forefinger into the soil it is moist above the top of your nail.
- Regularly check the soil is moist but not soaking or sitting in water.
- Make sure to place your plant away from any harsh drafts.
