Why We Love It
Why We Love It
This eye-catching Petunia 'Surfinia Blue Vein' is primed to please you for the whole of the summer thanks to its long-lasting display of fabulous flowers, white on the outside and with a deep purple centre.
The purple trickles out into the white in branching veins, like ink.
It's an impressive look, practically hypnotic.
How to Plant
How to Plant
Plant in full sun if you can; it doesn't mind a spot of shade though and performs well whatever the summer has in store.
Into the Ground
- Dig a hole to at least double the width of the plant's rootball.
- Mix in some well-rotted compost or soil.
- Insert your plant, lining up the top of the rootball with the surface of the soil.
- Backfill around the roots and water it well.
Into a Pot
- Pour a small amount of compost into the bottom of your chosen container.
- Put the plant in place and then back-fill soil around the rootball.
- Lightly water after repotting.
- The soil should be just damp enough that if you press your forefinger into the soil it is moist above the top of your nail.
- Regularly check the soil is moist but not soaking or sitting in water.
