Why We Love It

This Juniper is a hardy evergreen shrub, compact and spreading, with arching branchges and golden-green leaves.

Juniperus x pfitzeriana 'Mint Julep' gives eye-catching structure to your garden and is ideal as ground cover or for planting on rocky terrain.

How to Plant

Juniper is tolerant of all moist soil types at varying pH levels.

It prefers to be in full sun or partial shade.'

Into the Ground

Once you've chosen the right spot for your tree, gather your spade, watering can and peat-free compost.

  1. Dig a deep hole roughly twice the size of the tree's rootball.
  2. Mix in a generous amount of soil and compost and add this into the hole.
  3. Gently spread the roots of the tree and then place the plant inside the hole.
  4. Backfill soil and water generously until set.

Into a Pot

Your tree will grow perfectly well in a pot or container, as long as your pot has enough room for the plant to properly extend its roots. You'll need your spade and a watering can, plus soil and peat-free compost.

  1. Sprinkle a little soil and compost in the bottom of your pot.
  2. Add your tree, backfilling with soil, using your spade or hand.
  3. Firm up and then water.
