Into a Pot
- Choose a pot that’s slightly bigger than the plant's temporary container.
- Ensure the new pot has drainage holes so excess water can escape.
- Part-fill the new pot with a quality houseplant compost.
- Remove the temporary container and place the plant in the new pot, so the rootball sits slightly below the pot’s rim (it’ll prevent water from running over the edge).
- Fill the gaps around the edges with compost, firm in gently and stand the pot in a saucer.
- Water well to settle your new plant in.
