Why We Love It

Cream/yellow flowers with bronze stripes.

Early flowering.

Bee friendly.

Crocus will grow in a wide range of soils provided there is good drainage.

They like sunshine but the flowers will last longer in partial shade.

Excellent for naturalising (leaving in for flowers year after year).

Suitable for rockeries, between shrubs and in any kind of container.

When planting, place wire netting just under the soil surface to prevent mice of squirrels eating the corms.

Planting Calendar

Plant in June, July, August, September, October, November.

Flowers in February, March.

Planting and Care

These bulbs should ideally be planted at a depth of 5cm/2 inches and a distance of 5cm/2 inches.
